Registration

The registration for the IMAT exam starts as the Italian Ministry of Education and Universities & Research (MIUR) announces the exam dates. In general, the registration process starts in the first week of July and ends by late July every year. It is open only for 3 weeks. Exam Pattern

The IMAT exam lasts for 100 minutes. Its question paper contains 60 MCQs from subjects like physics & mathematics (13), biology (23), chemistry (15), and logical reasoning & problem-solving skills (5), and reading skills & knowledge (4). Candidates will be awarded with 1.5 points for a correct answer and will have a minus 0.4-point for an incorrect answer. To secure a seat in one of the 16 Italian public universities, you need to score at least 20 points.
