Overview

UCAT is the short form of the University Clinical Aptitude Test. It is a computer-based  admission test for undergraduate medical and dental courses in the UK and partner universities across the world. The test is conducted at Pearson VUE test centres. This test score is used for admission along with academic qualifications and interviews.  

Registration

The UCAT exam is conducted from July to September in a year. As an aspiring candidate, you need to register yourself at the official website, https://www.ucat.ac.uk/register/. You need to follow the onscreen instructions to complete your registration and schedule your test date.

Exam Pattern

The UCAT exam lasts for 120 minutes, 2 hours. Its question papers contain around 200 questions from subjects like medical ethics, reasoning, and decision making. Candidates have to score more than 650 to secure an undergraduate medical/dental seat in the top medical colleges in the UK and partner countries.
